Basket (and General) Weaving Workshop in the Tee Pee Tent! Workshops to be conducted by Ms Deborah Boyles and Chloe Boyles from Warrington Weaving

Saturday 8 June  –  Adults only workshop with Childcare provided, 12.30 – 4.40 pm

Sunday 9 June    –  Session 1 – 9.30 – 12.30pm (8yr – 12yrs)
                            Session 2 2pm – 5pm (13yrs – 17yrs)

Tuesday 11 June - Wudinna Community Club at 7pm
"A Community Conversation Raising Happy and Resilient Young People" with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg PhD MAAPI.

Dr Michael Carr-Gregg is one of Australia’s highest profile psychologists, author and broadcaster and a specialist in parenting, children, adolescents and the use of technology for mental health. He is also the author of 4 best selling books on parenting, including Surviving Adolescents, Beyond Cyberbullying and When to Really Worry.

Michael has been the resident parenting expert on Channel 7’s Sunrise for over a decade as well as a social commentator on the Morning Show.

This is a great opportunity for the entire community to engage in a conversation with Michael on raising happy and resilient young people and how the community can support and work with young people to help shape the future.

This is a free event and everyone, especially parents and young people, are welcome.

Sunday 17 June - Wudinna Community Club (Time to be confirmed)
Fresh from the Adelaide Fringe, Cherry Farrow  (possibly Australia’s only female comedy stage hypnotist) is bringing a show to Wudinna full of high impact, hilarious hypnotic humor where audience volunteers become starts of the show. You can either see the show or BE the show. You will be enthralled from the beginning to the end as you marvel at the power of the human mind and its unlimited potential.

Sunday 23 June - Picnic at Pildappa Rock
Catered lunch and music. More information will be in the June Granite and from the Minnipa Shop.

Saturday 29 June – Wudinna Community Club from 6.30pm till late
"Guitars in Bars" - A flagship regional opening weekend event of the Adelaide Guitar Festival Guitars in Bars program. All programing and marketing being coordinated by the Adelaide Guitar Festival. Musicians from the Eyre Peninsula who are interested in performing at this event can contact Craig Midgley at Wudinna District Council by phoning 8680 2002.

Friday 21 - Sunday 23 June - Wudinna Hall
Art exhibition and workshops - Friday 21 June at the Wudinna Hall (opening night with wine tasting). Exhibition and professional development workshops for artists on Saturday 22 June with Sunday 23 June.
